Truth of life

Possession curves down the way to misery,
Deceit and guilt is what innocence is wrapped in;
Resemblance deals a harsh blow to human vanity,
We humans say we are free…?

Our destinies mock at us,
Our names are borne to be scorned;
Yet we foolish creatures ridicule those,
Who are there just like us?

Mysteries keep unfolding of the deceitful human heart,
Even eyes cannot look through them.
Exotic beauties there may be many,
But not a heart, which doesn’t hurt.

Life is beautiful, all men say so
And death is ugly, they all know.
Yet the arrows of life keep on hurting,
And Death is just one blow.

Vanity shatters, pride shatters, only Love ‘s there to serve.
But when men say, Love is blind;
I seldom feel that way
For Love has always a reason to be in love…
